The following terms and conditions apply to cancellations (when the open purchase rules do not apply). Separate rules apply if you have cancellation protection (see below).
At the time of booking, you can purchase cancellation protection that applies in combination with the terms and conditions below. The cost of cancellation protection is stated in connection with booking.
Cancellation protection means that you can cancel up to the agreed arrival date. However, cancellation must be made as soon as you know that you will not be able to fulfill the agreement due to any of the events below. Cancellation protection also gives you the right to interrupt your current stay and receive a refund corresponding to the part of the stay you were unable to use if any of the points below occur.
Valid reasons for using cancellation protection are:
1. in the event of death, illness or accident of a serious nature affecting you, your spouse, partner, parents, children, siblings or fellow traveler,
2. that there is another serious event beyond your control, such as a major fire or flood in your home, which makes it unreasonable to ask you to stick to your booking,
3. upon call-up to the armed forces or civil defence or
4. if you are unable to complete your booking due to unemployment or new employment. Your inability must be supported by relevant certificates, e.g. from a doctor or insurance company. The certificate must be received by us no later than 30 days after the cancellation date.
The amount you will receive back will be paid no later than 10 days after you have provided proof of your right to use the cancellation protection.
What rights do I have?
In the event of our breach of contract, serious disruptions or if the service otherwise deviates from the information we have provided or what you could reasonably have expected, you have the right to demand remedial action, a price reduction or cancellation. Breach of contract or other deficiencies in the service that are due to reasons beyond our control do not give rise to the right to compensation under this agreement (see the section on limits of the campsite's control liability below).
Any faults that occur during your stay must be reported immediately so that we have the opportunity to rectify the fault. If you fail to report any faults, you will not be able to claim compensation.
If you have received compensation but are not satisfied with it, you must notify us within 3 weeks (21 days) of departure. This can be done verbally, in writing or via email. We recommend email.
Limits on the campsite's control responsibility.
In the event that the stay cannot be carried out due to an obstacle beyond our control and which we could not reasonably have been expected to have taken into account when the agreement was entered into and the consequences of which we could not reasonably have avoided or overcome, we are free from liability for damages or other penalties.
Violation of the campsite regulations, or breach of the agreement in general, may result in the agreement being terminated with immediate effect. In the event of eviction, the amount due is calculated based on the current daily rate applied during the time you had access to the site, plus deductions for estimated damage. Any difference will be refunded no later than 10 days after eviction.
